Admissions


Our Lady Star of the Sea School has a rolling admissions policy allowing students to be screened and admitted at various times throughout the year. The Principal is available to meet with prospective parents by appointment. For acceptance, a screening evaluation is required, as is a class visit. If a student is coming from another school, the transfer records are required as a prerequisite for admission.

The administration reviews all applications and reserves the right for final acceptance. Prospective students must meet the academic and behavioral standards of Our Lady Star of the Sea School.

ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS REQUIRED FOR THE APPLICATION PROCESS TO BE COMPLETE:
1.  Official copy of the child’s birth certificate (long form)
2.  Baptismal Certificate
3.  Health records including up-to-date immunizations.  State of Connecticut health form completed by your physician.
4.  Application fee (non-refundable)
5.  Parent calendar to set date & time for screening
6.  Parish certification form signed by your pastor
IF APPLYING TO KINDERGARTEN - FIFTH GRADE:  Progress report from previous school

IF DIVORCED:  A copy of your divorce decree & custody papers (this is for your child’s protection)
